challenge

Woodhouse, a premier catering company dominating Central Virginia, was born from its parent company, Covenant Woods. The goal of Woodhouse was clear: to create memorable experiences for clients and guests through quality food, exceptional service, and superior venues. The team at Covenant Woods approached us to develop a distinctive brand identity and design a website that would serve as a powerful tool for marketing and bookings.

Solution

To craft Woodhouse's brand identity, we used its name as the foundation for the design. We incorporated wooden textures as a visual element, cleverly shaping them to mirror the home logo, creating a direct visual play on the name 'Woodhouse.' The warm, inviting color palette was chosen to evoke a sense of belonging and trust, ensuring the brand felt welcoming and approachable while reinforcing the company's commitment to exceptional service and memorable experiences.

For the website, we focused on simplicity and straightforward functionality. We created intuitive user pathways that guided visitors through the brand story, package options, and vendor information. Each section was designed to make the process seamless, allowing users to explore the offerings and book their services easily.

Launch Experiences

With the launch this new product, the idea is to create immersive experiences and installations around the city. Glossier would take over Manhattan with giant sculptures of the product in uptown, midtown, and downtown, creating a photo op scavenger hunt. Each sculpture will be strategically placed in a neighborhood to reflect its namesake. Fairy can be found in Central Park amongst the trees, Siren is sitting pretty on a pier in Seaport, and Supernova is in the heart of Times Square, reflected in the lights for an intergalactic feel.

Glossier has always been big on customer experience. With G Light, the idea is to tap into that connection: unexpected fun and, let’s be real, free stuff because who doesn’t love that? The launch of this product continues with a party where people can test the powders and create content and connections. Tote bags as cute takeaways, and even a claw machine where guests could try their luck at winning a G Light powder. The goal is to make the launch feel exciting, shareable, and totally Glossier.
